The jade has very good lustre and translucency with some yellow right on the sun and windmill, it is engraved with a pair of panda chewing on bamboo with the sun on top and the hill behind them.
Panda is China’s national animal, and it is believed to symbolize harmony and peace. It has very fine crystal aggregates, hence is a piece of good quality jadeite. It has green throughout. Other than the two pandas, it has simple carving of a bamboo which represents things will get better and better, 节节高. There are also new shoots which represent hopes.
